There are a number of dangers and safety issued involved in working with high-field MRI systems.

Before working at GEMRIC you will be required to:

1. Watch the MR Safety Lecture.
2. Have an induction into local rules by GEMRIC’s academics/staff.
3. Have on-site MRI safety training
4. Complete and sign the MRI safety document (example on page 9 of MR safety lecture).

Breaches of safety procedures will not be tolerated and will result in exclusion from GEMRIC.
